Greetings in the Most blessed Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Welcome to the world of missions. I give praise that you have visit this place today. I hope that this simple site will provide some useful information on how you could be of service and value to the ministry of Christ. Are you a missionary or a prospective missionary? Do you have a calling for His service or do you just have human desire to help in God's work?

I want to clarify from the start, that I do not send forth missions groups nor do I make any one a missionary; I receiver prospective applicants, evaluate them, train them for four weeks, three hours every saturday, send them to trial missions and release them to global ministries that has positions for them. Missions abroad is not for group sending, but every individual will apply to various missions available around the world based on their calling, education and experience either in the frontline or backline missions.

I also want to state very strongly that FREE or FULLY funded missions do not mean that you have no respopnsibility; Nobody will pay for your passport or visa and basic personal things. The missions that will invite you to serve with them will  only be involved with ministerial needs like your travel details, insurance, ministerial support and NOT PERSONAL AFFAIRS.

There are two categories of people who go for missions; the first go for human response, the second on devine command, yet I have no problem at all for I am  happy that the Gospel is being preached!

First, I want you to know that Sound Doctrine  is a personal ministry committed to my charge for my generation. My ministry is based on no theology or wisdom, but upon sound Christian Apologetics and Hard Sayings and only God can help you understand what sort of ministry goes by the name Sound Doctrine. The world is full of confusion and that confusion will  not abate and many more false prophets, churches, ministries and theological controversies will continue to reign to the end of times.

From this earliest, it would be helpful to ask yourself if you really have a missionary Calling;do you?

There are two types of missionaries; Fully funded missionaries and Tent-making missionaries. While the first are relying on the support of others, the latter support themselves using their skills and capacity to keep the Gospel Going. This is the Model of Paul. The first is the model of Peter who was financed from the church treasury. Paul had more glory and bosting than Peter and did much more! Which sort of missions do you seek from this site?

My missionary exercises are not pioneer misssions nor adventures; my missions are revivalist quests. There is,therefore, a need for you to understand two things; REVIVAL and allowing GOD to be GOD without which you may not find these missions helpful to your personal growth and service to the Almighty God.

Sound Doctrine Mission stands on the word of YAHWEH and requires only the best, the dedicated, the humble and the passionate whose sole drive is none other than the Great Commissions Commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ.

I have learned from experience after interviewing so many would-be missions candidates, that many people come to my ministry hoping I could make them something, a missionary. I am not able. I do not have the power to make even one missionary for a missionary role is a Honourable Calling that only the Lord can give to a man or a woman. What would make a man or woman to risk their lives to go on God’s service, money by its attractions cannot accomplish.

There are many people who have become rich, millionare ministers, in the worldly things in the name of the lord, and this has been a real bad fruit and many people today are motivated to missions because of some form of gain, whether money, position or society.

Sound Doctrine Commission has been born as a gateway to the world of missions, volunteers and missions related careers locally and globally. I have received the grace to welcome, polish and release spiritual resources to the world. I link people to service opportunities both home and beyond, beginning locally and territorially (Acts 1:8) so as to exploit your gifts and talents for evangelism, discipleship, and career development to fulfill the Great Commission to the glory of God!

There are unlimited Ministry, and volunteer opportunities worldwide waiting for you. These opportunities are locally in Kenya, in East Africa, and all over the world, for example: children workers, pastor trainers, evangelists, discipleship and vocational instructors, medical personnel, Bible school, college, and seminary professors, office administrators etc. 

Support: 

All missionaries and Volunteers trust in the Lord for personal and ministry support (none are paid a salary) but receive BASIC FINANCING as the ministries can provide. Some missionaries are tentmakers and so independent; which sort of missionary are you?

Focus:

As a  Ministry Advisory and global resource mobilizer, we work with all sectors of society with a special emphasis on the gifted and the ready to create a sound forum for End-Time Revival.

Length of service:

Career missionaries or Volunteers serve months, one or two years, or longer; other opportunities for varied lengths of time such as associate missionaries, tentmakers, Short Term (as short as ten days), Summer of Service (SOS), Missionary Apprenticeship Program (five to six weeks), Project Worker, and Internship, professional support like doctors, engineers, business advisors etc may even serve longer.

Qualification:
Every one of us has an ability or capacity that is God-given. We don’t make any one a missionary. You must have a Calling for God’s work. You have skills and abilities that can bless and support Ministries and Missionaries from your own front door. From preaching to intercession and from web site design and management to graphic design, from electrical or mechanical skills to elementary education, all these areas can be employed to help missionaries minister more effectively and empower the local church there on the field. It isn't about what you can't do, or what you can do, it is about how much you can surrender for him to work His Will through you.

How to become a missionary through Sound Doctrine Commission:

If God is giving you a special concern for ministry (calling) or desire to volunteer your skills, ability and learning to help humanity, either for two months or several years and if you would like to prayerfully consider serving as local or international Missionary or volunteer, you can begin to work on the following today:

• The first Step is to complete an online Missions Ready Evaluation Test  (this neither qualifies nor disqualifies an applicant). There are both online and printed versions;just click the link "MISSION TEST" or below and begin it now. The results are important in three ways; first they will show the sum of strengths and weaknesses of the prospective missionary and help us find the right missions opportunities suitable for such capacity; Secondly the results will help the prospective missionary to know themselves, their potential and limits and to be able to pray with more focus; And lastly, these results will help us to design the right training and to provide you with the right resources for your effective equipping for missions.
  
• After taking each test please CLICK VIEW THE RESULT button, print only the first page of each test and simply attach the reult and email them to findmission@aol.com together with an M-PESA for Kshs.500/- to 0726-680-687 or bring it over to my office with Kshs.500/- . I will eveluate the results ans give to you the Prospective Application Form or an application appropriate for the type of service being applied for and advise you of any financial commitments on your part.

• When you have filled in all your data, there follows the signing of the missions agreement and application for global missions forms. I will guide you is electing the right ministry based on your capacity, then facilitate the correpondence between you and the appointing mission headquarters.
  
• While the above is in the works, you will be enrolles in a mission class for four weeks(3 hours per week for one month). We shall prepare your resource packs, mission class schedule and other details. When you are graduates from the academic coursework, you will have two trial missions; one in Kenya and another in East Africa. This is based on Act 1:8; and these missions are for priming and orientation as well as for further evaluations. Then and only then you are ready for gloabl missions.
  
• Sound Doctrine Commission leadership will then pray and discuss with you the future prospect as a career, associate, short term, MAP, SOS, project worker, intern or tentmaking missionary.
  
  You are then released.

Please note that these steps are not strict guidelines and they may be changed at any time.

But first, you must be clear about your motives for wanting to go for missions; Money? Travel? Experience? Or Gospel?
